My Passion & How I Inspire

I have a unique ability to organise, motivate and inspire students to produce their best work. When tutoring I aim to bring my unique education and creativity to closely identify student's unique weaknesses, allow a student-led approach to sessions, provide careful instruction to help students achieve their full potential and help them enjoy the process of learning as it takes place.

My tutorials are the antithesis of the conventional (quite dull) secondary school classrooms in which students can easily fall asleep, hide gaps in knowledge and then let those gaps grow. My tutorials will test my students, they will offer clear explanations, conversations which move beyond the curriculum, writing, re-writing and hopefully fun.

My Experience

I have been an online tutor of Biology and English, specialising in GCSE, iGCSE and International Baccalaureate for over one year. Whilst working online I have brought a fun, creative, goal-driven approach to my teaching, helping students identify their weaknesses and excel in their subject. I have received numerous five-star reviews in the process. In addition to my online work, I tutored year 11 students at City and Islington College over a ten-month weekly period two years ago. I coached a group of aspiring medical students in Biology, medical interview technique and the challenging medical school admissions exam, the UKCAT.

In addition, I have taught English and Mathematics to students at Grey Court School and privately tutored students in the ABRSM board of Piano and Violin examinations.
