My Passion & How I Inspire

I believe in a supportive and enthusiastic approach to tutoring, with the core of my teaching looking not only to simply pass an exam, but for the student to gain wider knowledge and skills. I look to give my tutees a skill set that can benefit them throughout their life, with well rounded holistic tutoring that not only gets results at public or university examinations, but further sets the pupil up with necessary design, artistic or written skills. For me, understanding a subject is more important than merely learning a correct answer.

My approach to Architecture and Design tutoring is to help give substance to projects via an extensive knowledge of theory, and then to assist my tutees in the realisation of these concepts, via drawing skills both by hand and digital.

I take a similar approach to art tutoring, with an emphasis on learning techniques to draw and see accurately, which is then backed up with portfolio strategy and project concepts. I believe that learning to draw is a fundamental skill that not only anyone can learn, but should learn!

Learning a skill can be incredible rewarding and fun, and I look forward to helping you achieve your creative dreams.

My Experience

Experienced GCSE, A-Level and mature student Art and Design tutor. I specialise in design thinking, project development and fine art tuition, which I have been developing experience in throughout my artistic and architectural studies, alongside my current work in User Experience Design. Alongside a degree in Architecture from Central Saint Martins, I have extensive artistic experience, including a diploma from L'Accademia D'Arte in Florence and a 100% GCSE and A-Level record in Art.

My experience tutoring Architecture stems from my studies, and I also offer CAD and Adobe design software tutoring. My main Architectural tuition focus however lies in Undergraduate design studio work, whether it be with design, portfolio or written work.

I've worked with ages from 9 – 50, and I would love to help you achieve your artistic or design ambitions.
