I worked at Wetherby Pre-prep for 9 nine years. This provided me with excellent first-hand knowledge of the London Day School system and the standards needed to gain entry to the very best schools. Additionally, I have been tutoring for more than 10 years. During my time working as a teacher and a tutor, I have successfully prepared children for the 7+, 8+ and 11+ London Day School exams.
My most recent role was as Principal of a British International School in Zagreb, Croatia. In my tutoring, I have covered a range of subjects including maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning for 7+, 8+ and 11+ candidates. A number of students I have worked with have gained entry to the best schools including: Colet Court (now St. Paul’s Juniors), Westminster Under, King’s College School, Godolphin and Latymer, St Paul’s Girls’ School, North London Collegiate School and others.
I also hold a CELTA qualification for teaching English as a second language. This, in addition to spending the last 3 years working in International Schools, has provided me with a great deal of experience of working with children whose first language is not English.

My Passion And How I Inspire
Having worked in primary education for more than 15 years now, I have witnessed first-hand the number of different ways in which children learn. I have a strong interest in different learning styles and how to adapt my teaching to suit each student’s particular style. I always establish a very strong relationship with my students. This way, I am able to find out what motivates them and this allows me to tailor my lessons to get the best out of them.
