‘I like to approach education as something far beyond the learning of facts and figures. I want to focus on helping students think beyond the usually very limited confines of a curriculum syllabus and introduce them to the kind of questions that will stimulate their love - and in turn, proficiency - for a subject. The kind of questions that, further down the line, interviewers at Oxbridge and other universities will be asking.’
Two years experience in personal tutoring, working individually with a range of students from the 7+ entrance exam, through the 11+ common entrance and KS2 Maths, up to AS level essay writing and History Oxbridge applications.

‘Ella is a wonderful tutor and passionate about teaching. Her enthusiasm and ability to communicate clearly enabled her to overcome the language barrier between her and her students. She also understood the sensitivity of shy students and developed their talent and interest wonderfully,’ Naomi Kuroda, Parent of student, OSCA Programme Japan
‘Ella was great and enabled my daughters to prepare for their exams, and improve their English comprehension and writing skills. Her key strength was her ability to build a quick rapport with the girls and to guide them through the attrition of exams. I have no hesitation in recommending her services to other parents or students.’ Colonel John Hutcheson, Parent of two students
