One of the main reasons I decided to join private tutoring is I find the experience of teaching very rewarding. As a student who received some tutoring in the past, I realise the importance of the tutor’s approach as well as the student’s attitude. My aim is to make sure my student has no queries or doubts at the end of the lesson and sincerely believes he has benefitted academically. I believe all students have the potential to excel but some may need a bit more guidance and time than others. No two students are the same and I aim to be adaptive, thorough and intellectually stimulating for each and every one.
In the summer of 2014 I taught English as a foreign language to classes in a rural town of South Korea.
