I have 15 years’ experience in marketing and an MBA with Distinction from the Edinburgh Business School. I am approachable and highly knowledgeable on strategic planning and marketing. I aim to help with editing and proof-reading essays and offer guidance to steer students in the right direction. Marketing is undergoing rapid technological change, so I am constantly improving my knowledge to stay up-to-date with developments in digital marketing, AI and data analytics. Christine has 15 years’ experience in marketing communications and an MBA with Distinction from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. She started her career as a TV, radio and cinema planner-buyer at London agency Carat working on the Nissan, Glenmorangie & Miller Brewing accounts. She moved client-side to British Telecom’s marketing team, where she managed BT’s media buying agencies and advised on its £160m media buying strategy. In 2000 she was recruited by a Swiss start-up to lead the UK marketing launch of a social media scale-up, which achieved 3.5 million registered users. She has also worked for e-commerce start-ups in luxury fashion retail. Christine has passed CIM exams in marketing strategy, marketing communications planning and research. She also has a certificate of excellence in the Think Like A Brand: Personal Branding for Entrepreneurs EBS course. She has lived in Italy and speaks fluent Italian. When she has the time, she blogs for the Huffington Post, Women’s Enterprise Scotland and We Are The City.
