My Experience

I am American who graduated from the IB programme and later came to London for my Masters. I have an understanding of higher education and pedagogy from both sides of the Atlantic. I've always had a passion for youth empowerment through expression. I hope to bring my experience as a published journalist and as an accomplished academic writer to young students of all subjects to help them achieve their goals  by learning to write for different contexts.

My Qualifications

I graduated with an IB diploma from Coral Gables Senior High School in Miami, Florida where my HL subjects were English, French, and Psychology. I went on to study International Relations with a specialization in the Middle East and Conflict Resolution at American University in Washington, DC. I always knew I wanted a Masters but it would be six years before I could really figure out what I wanted from a programme. I finally decided to move to London and pursue Social Anthropology at SOAS, University of London where I focused on media and storytelling. My dissertation about refugee oral history online received a distinction.
