An interdisciplinary outlook gives me an added perspective on teaching both scientific and artistic disciplines, helping me to relate seemingly abstract concepts to things of wonder in the world. In my teaching, I strive for a balance between specific syllabus guidance and emphasis on the broader values and excitement at the core of each subject.
Undergraduate: Tutor for two Cambridge BA students in their second year neuroscience course. Out of their subjects that year, both did best in mine.
A-level and GCSE: Maths and Biology
IB: Maths and Biology (mostly Maths SL and Mathematical Studies SL) to students in Australia, New Zealand, Austria and Russia.
Art: I have given many artist talks and workshops internationally, including Camberwell College of Art and Architectural Association in London. I also tutored Art and Design at IB to international students, especially focusing on coursework advice.
