During a lesson I am always as active and involved as I can be, preferring to play and demonstrate wherever possible rather than teach purely verbally from sitting down as I believe students learn kinetically as much as they do audibly. I try to focus on a major theme during each lesson so information isn't overloaded and there is some structure but above all I endeavour to keep the atmosphere as relaxed as possible.
Previously, I have assisted in the String Time programme at the Junior Trinity College of Music and taught in Notting Hill for ages 4-11 years. I have been involved in the Royal College of Music Sparks Programme, showcasing classical music to primary and secondary school aged children. I also teach a number of pupils privately in London.
