I tutor the way I learn, that is, always aiming to fully understand a topic or concept before moving onto more difficult ones. I think building a solid foundation is key to understanding complex ideas. I do this by always asking questions to check progress and re-explaining when there is confusion. It’s much better to make a mistake now than in the exams! I’m friendly and I want to work with the student to achieve their potential, which I’m sure is the highest grade possible!
I have tutored at different levels including GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate. I started out by helping friends and family but then realised I thoroughly enjoyed tutoring so went on to do tutoring in the local area as well as some online tutoring! I graduated with a First in Chemistry so that’s my specialty but I also did triple maths at A-Level and got A*’s so I would love to tutor Maths too!
