I tailor my tutoring sessions to the needs of the student and over the course of several lessons I aim to develop an approach that suits them. In general, I create shareable GoogleDocs that can be edited both by myself and the student during the lesson and after so that we establish a collaborative relationship. Moreover, I am always patient if the student is experiencing difficulties and will take time to ensure that they fully understand the topic.
My first experience of teaching was during the International Baccalaureate; as part of this qualification I taught English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) at a school in South London. Later, during my undergraduate degree in modern languages I participated in a tandem scheme with French and Spanish ERASMUS students, which involved one-on-one conversational language practice. Upon graduating from university I joined a specialist I.B. tutoring agency based in London and I offer online support to various students through their portal in History, Spanish, and French. I continue to work with this agency alongside my graduate studies at the University of Cambridge.
