My Passion & How I Inspire

I understand each student is different, while some are struggling to grasp the basic concepts; others are interested to solve problems. Before my lessons, I prefer to discuss the goals either directly with students or with their parents. It helps to focus on the right track and helps to estimate how many lessons one may need. At the end of each lesson, I also discuss the topics for the next lesson with the student so that we can start focusing on the lesson as soon as we meet in the next meeting. I keep track the progress of my students at the end of each lesson and send it to their parents/guardians to update them.

My Experience

I started teaching during my master’s studies as a lab demonstrator to undergraduate students. Following my master, I worked as a university lecturer and taught undergraduate students in the semiconductor devices. At Oxford University, I also work as a lab demonstrator to assist the student in their first-year electrical engineering lab. Moreover, I have taught 16 to 18 years about engineering in summer courses in Oxford. I also provide private tuition to GCSE and A-Level students who read Physics and Math.

My Qualifications

I am a PhD student in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford where I work on lasers. I have a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering with distinction. As a part of my master’s research, I developed organic material based solar energy devices and part of that work got first prize in an international conference. I hold an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering where I specialized in telecommunication.
