“I believe tutoring is all about practice and communication. The only way to solidify true understanding of a subject is to be tested and see if you can comfortably answer any type of question. If you can, then you’ve cracked it! As a result, my tutoring places emphasis on backing up factual recall with well understood exam techniques and question response styles. Aside from practice, it is important for me to develop a rapport with a tutee so that I am able to alter my work to their requirements.
