My Passion & How I Inspire

I believe that a tutor doesn't replace the teacher in the classroom or the coach on the sports pitch but instead is an aid to enhance learning and development of the student.

I take a child centred approach to my sessions. I aim to understand the requirements and desired outcomes of the student before creating a specialised program to ensure their development and understanding of their chosen sport/subject.

I endeavour to make sure my sessions are as engaging and fun as possible. Enjoyment is seen as a key factor to prolonging participation in sport and I believe this is incredibly important to retain throughout the student/coach relationship.

I also use skills acquired during my degree to also understand if there are any psychological barriers to development. I enjoy getting to know my students and finding out about their interests outside the classroom or of the sports pitch.
