My Passion & How I Inspire

Achieving the goal of top grades is an important prerequisite for any university admission. Following this, I adapt the syllabus and curriculum to fit the personal learning needs of my students to ensure they achieve consistent academic success. This approach ensures that any weaknesses in understanding the syllabus are addressed. This approach draws upon the heavy usage of past papers to ensure students are well practised and confident before taking their examinations. I will push you to achieve the best academic success through rigorous exam practise and holding high academic expectations of my students. I ensure that students have fun and engage with the academic material to ensure goals are achieved.

My Experience

I have over three years of experience of teaching students across London. I have graduated from University College London (UCL) with a First-Class Honours after reading Geography. I’m currently a Master’s candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) undertaking Development Studies, specialising in development economics.

My previous tutoring experience has been developed over the last three years, through helping a range of students in preparations for their exams at the levels of KS3, GCSE, A-Levels and Undergraduate. I have a specialised teaching focus within the subjects of Geography, History, English, Mathematics and Economics. During my tutoring, I have applied efficient teaching methods to focus on the individual needs of the student. I have worked with students from a range of exam boarding extending from AQA, OCR to Edexcel.

Some of my past teaching experiences include, for example:

Teaching Geography to undergraduate, A-Level and GCSE students.

Improving and working on exam technique with GCSE and A-Level students from St Paul's School, London in preparation for their History and Economic examinations.

Taught an exam seminar for 1st Year Geography students in my final year.

Working with students from Highgate School to understand content for upcoming Economic and Geography examinations.

Teaching English as a second language as part of a volunteer project across orphanages in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
