My Passion & How I Inspire

My focus is on building the confidence of students, encouraging them to see the important conceptual issues behind any exam topic. By developing an intellectually stimulating interest in a subject, my students have found it much easier and enjoyable to build their own arguments for coursework and exams. Rather than focusing on rote learning facts, I help students improve their analytical skills, harnessing their interests to help them discover new perspectives on their subject.

My Experience

I have considerable experience assisting humanities students with university applications, helping with the drafting and revision of personal statements, preparing students for admissions tests and providing mock interviews for multiple agencies and at the sixth form college with the highest number of Oxbridge acceptances for any state school. I have also tutored History A-level for students studying on the Edexcel exam board and Government and Politics A-level for AQA.
