I engage fully with my students and the parents to work for a goal and achieve that goal at the end with work coming from the tutor as well as from the student. As I have been a tutor for a few years now I know that not all students are the same and hence a personalised way of tutoring according to the goals and targets must be done.
It is also important to build a strong and confident relationship with both the student and the parents.
I have been a private tutor since 2011, mainly for IGCSE and A-Level subjects with a range from History to Geography and Spanish and English Literature.
The students I have taught have gained more confidence in the subject and have learnt to approach it in a fun and creative way.
I have also tutored a young kid in every subject he had, to improve his comprehension and communication skills. Moreover as a prefect at my school I had the chance of creating a reading club for kids with comprehension and analysis difficulties and we would run it every Tuesday morning before school.
I am currently creating a foundation to help kids from the South East area to have a chance to appreciate Art as much as I enjoy it and also to show that Art and Galleries are for everyone. I am also joining a foundation to be a mentor for a young girl for a year as voluntary work.
