My Passion & How I Inspire

Making sessions focused on the topic in hand while at the same time providing practical advice from the real world of accountancy and business. This not only makes the topic more alive but also helps develop the students for life after qualification.

There are two types of qualified accountants – those who know their technical knowledge and those who know how to pass an exam. I aim to improve both.

My Experience

I started my accountancy qualification straight after University, training in a small firm in Cambridge.  I qualified in 2013 and soon moved to the City to work for a top 10 firm, which I still work for.  I have a broad range of accounting and tax knowledge which is required for my role within the firm.  I work with a range of industries and the majority are multi-national companies expanding into the UK.  I help develop my team’s knowledge and have taught during the firm’s graduate program.
