My Passion & How I Inspire

My sessions are inspired by the tutorial/supervision teaching style that Oxbridge is famous for, and so they are rigorous and thought-provoking. I am passionate about discovering the specific way each student thinks. I use this as a springboard to cultivate new and unexpected patterns of thought so that they are constantly progressing. Practice is essential to growth and so lessons are as interactive as possible. I find creative connections between what my students need help with and their own interests. I believe that personalisation fosters a sense of ownership over one's studies. This bespoke approach extends not only to what I teach but how I teach - education cannot thrive with a 'one-size fits all' mentality. This leaves room for adaptability so I can respond to the individual needs of a student whilst remaining consistent in quality and excellence.

My Experience

As a graduate of the University of Cambridge, my experience consists primarily of helping students with the application process for Oxford and Cambridge Universities. I have worked specifically with students applying to study English, guiding them in writing personal statements, conducting mock interviews, setting them reading lists and discussing their academic interests.

With a degree in English Literature from a world-renowned university, I have a depth of knowledge and expertise within my subject as well as a genuine fascination with it, and with the process of learning as a whole.
