My Passion & How I Inspire

In my experience a lot of students struggle with more advanced material because of some gaps in their basic understanding. When teaching, I try to identify and fill in these gaps. I also find that many students fail when trying to memorise the enormous amounts of material required at undergraduate or even earlier levels; I believe that thorough understanding not only significantly reduces the time needed to prepare for exams, but may even completely replace any reliance on time-consuming rota-memorisation.

My Experience

I am currently a statistics teaching assistant at the UCL (London). I provide statistical help for 2nd and 3rd year psychology students during their lab classes and during one-to-one meetings where I assist them with their assessments and dissertation projects.

My Reviews

"I've had a couple of sessions with Ewa so far and I only have positive things to say about her. She's been really flexible and accommodating about tutorial times and locations, she always comes prepared for the session, is great at explaining complex statistical concepts and tests that I hadn't previously understood and is very positive and encouraging. My stats coursework is in now but I'll definitely be looking to book a couple more sessions with her if she's around in early January as part of the preparation for my exam."
