My Passion & How I Inspire

I consistently aim to cultivate assurance and aptitude in young people by designing and delivering engaging, interactive lessons which allow students to connect with, and progress through the learning. Ultimately, I seek to provide personalised, inclusive and quality teaching that challenges, inspires and empowers students to achieve their full potential.

My Experience

3 years experience as a secondary school English teacher (on-going) for a wide range of abilities and needs across Key Stages 3 and 4 in one of top non-selective boys schools in the UK ā€“ rated outstanding by Ofsted.

In addition to grade 'outstanding' classroom teaching, I am also experienced in small, group tailored learning support, and one-to-one tuition support for KS3 and 4 (diverse needs and ability range). This includes offering additional reading, literacy support and GCSE Literature, Language and iGCSE exam preparation support to students outside of classes to help them reach their potential and pass upcoming exams.

I am currently focusing on extending teaching through private tuition work, bringing a repertoire of professional classroom and tutoring expertise into the home.
