My Passion & How I Inspire

I am really enthusiastic about tutoring and I think I can inspire my students and make them care for their subject. For me, tutoring is about more than just teaching, it as much about having fun, building confidence and developing life skills for the future. Being able to have a positive impact on the student and and seeing students flourish under my guidance is profoundly rewarding and provides a great deal of joy.

Within the first few lessons, I aim to assess a student's abilities and individual learning style and plan future lessons accordingly. I plan all my lessons in advance and the style is tailored to each student's needs. I devote significant time to exploring new learning techniques outside my sessions and I always try to come up with new ideas, that are academically stimulating and fit the student's unique personality. In order to mark progress, I regularly provide detailed feedback to students and parents.

My Experience

I started tutoring in 2015 through volunteering in an orphanage home, where I taught a seven-year old boy for two years in a variety of subjects. This experience taught me a lot about how to deal with people and provided me with strong communication skills. Since then, I have decided to continue this passion in London, having taught both adults and children since the end of 2017.

In the last two years, I have taught over 20 students in German, Maths and English. Some of my teaching highlights include:

I have received 5 star ratings and positive feedback from every student I have ever taught.

I tutored two children in Maths and English 11+ who both received an offer from Harrodian School. One of my students has additionally been shortlisted for admission to St Paul's School.

I successfully prepared my students for the Goethe language examination, with 100% passing their exams.

I taught numerous beginners in German, who are now able to confidently speak the language.
