My Passion & How I Inspire

Although I shall always be ready to defer to the student in how they find they learn most effectively, I always suggest that the selection of relevant information and technique in applying it are best attained by tackling actual exam questions. This brings the student immediately face to face with the challenges and stimulus of the exam in the format ultimately required, and focuses all the skills needed at once. Within this framework, I invite the student to explore angles and ways of using evidence to make a case, and these can be talked through productively. By these means, the acquisition of information is never detached from its application to a task, and it is more readily retained thereby.
