My Passion & How I Inspire

I believe that my professional and academic credentials set me apart from other tutors in this subject area. After I received a Distinction in my Masters, which specialised in French and British History of Art, I secured a job as a Curator of a private art collection in London. I worked here for two years acting as an art consultant, curating exhibitions and writing books. In September 2015 I received full funding to do my PhD in History of Art. I want to pass on my world-class education and specialist academic experience to my clients. From my own experience I understand that the transition from Undergraduate Level to Masters Level can often be difficult, I can advise how best to approach your new course. I adapt differently to each client and encourage contextualisation and critical analysis. I can advise wider reading around a subject, and offer different perspectives so that your argument is well-reasoned. Through a close examination of mark schemes and specific course structures we will meet your main objectives and adapt essays and dissertations accordingly so that you can achieve the best grade possible.

My Experience

I am a fully-funded AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) PhD Candidate at the University of Leeds. As a Doctoral Graduate Tutor I have assisted on 2nd year Undergraduate modules including The History of the Art Market, Art Historical Theory and Art Business. I also have experience assisting on the Art Gallery and Museum Studies Masters programme which focuses on the history of museums, museology and art historical criticism. I regularly lecture at academic conferences and my first academic publication is forthcoming from Bloomsbury in 2017.
