My Passion & How I Inspire
I use a range of techniques and styles in my teaching. I plan and structure lessons carefully, so that they include a variety of activities and exercises which are appropriate to the age, level and preferences of the individual student, and the objectives they wish to achieve.
My Experience
I have more than twenty years of experience teaching Spanish. I am a qualified teacher and and a native speaker of Spanish. I have taught students of all ages and levels, including adults and secondary school pupils preparing for GCSE and A level exams with a range of exam boards. I also teach adult students who need Spanish for business purposes or who want to learn the language simply for pleasure. I have also taught Spanish in primary and secondary schools, and in adult education colleges.
My Qualifications
I attended the Colegio Sagrado Corazón and the Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria de Almazora, Castellón de la Plana, Spain. I qualified as a teacher of Spanish and French at the Escuela Universitaria del Profesorado de Educación, also in Castellón. I have qualified teacher status in England.
Fun fact
We brought up our two daughters trilingually and were once featured in an episode of Radio 4’s Home Truths.
