My Approach to Private Tuition
During a lesson I am always as active and involved as I can be, preferring to play and demonstrate wherever possible rather than teach purely verbally from sitting down as I believe students learn kinetically as much as they do audibly. I try to focus on a major theme during each lesson so information isn’t overloaded and there is some structure but above all I endeavour to keep the atmosphere as relaxed as possible.
I have played the blues harmonica as part of a percussion ensemble in Cadogan Hall!
