My Passion & How I Inspire

"Tutoring requires you to reflect on aspects that made your own learning experience more enjoyable, and aiming to use these as part of the process in helping students achieve their goals and ambitions.Ā I focus on understanding what areas students are having difficulty in, and try to target my teaching towards these. I endeavour to make sure students have a full understanding of their subjects and are able to think critically and analytically, as I feel that this is often the best way to learn. I like to encourage them to develop study skills that are transferrable between subjects, so that they are able to foster the ability to succeed in future studies. I find that quirky and interesting facts can often help students develop interest in their subjects and allow for a more comfortable learning environment. I always make sure I understand a studentā€™s exam requirements, ensuring that I have rigorously gone through the available syllabus to make sure my teaching is fully comprehensive."
