My Experience
I am currently lecturing on the BA Design for Art Direction course at London College of Communication, University of Arts, London, across graphic design, film, and image making, and have also been a lecturer from 2007-2017 building portfolios on the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design course at De Montfort University, Leicester. Alongside teaching the general art and design principles of colour, composition and 3d, I have specialised in Visual Communications covering Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, & Video, and, have written and delivered project briefs, and successfully sent students to study at excellent art & design institutions such as Central Saint Martins and London College of Communication, UAL.
Simultaneously, I have been a study skills tutor since 2010 in assisting with writing effective UCAS personal statements and dissertation/essays, and am empathetic to the requirements of international students and dyslexic pupils with written work and organisational skills.
In my professional practice, I am at the forefront of design and visual media as an Art Director and have worked on a variety of projects including front end mobile app development, web design, curating for exhibitions, artist management and marketing, and am broadly networked with visual communicators in industry and course directors within educational institutions including Central Saint Martins, London College of Communication, and Royal College of Art.
